Domestic and General created a new digital proposition to drive traffic and conversion from an E-Commerce perspective. The Digital Proposition was headed up by James Turnbull – Director of Digital and he was responsible for building a team to facilitate this plan. Domestic and General needed a recruitment business partner to support this business critical programme and True was engaged in this capacity.
Domestic and General needed to build a team across software development, testing, digital analysis and trading. The team would act as the ‘internal digital agency’ and would serve as the e-commerce pioneer both internally and externally. Within a timeframe of under three months; key individuals from middle to senior management were required to shape and grow the team.
As this was a new venture, True North conducted discovery meetings with all relevant stakeholders to agree a structured project plan and phased delivery approach. The project was supported by technical and psychometric testing conducted by True North. The process was highly interactive and involved weekly meetings, designated on-site consultancy through to support post on-boarding. The project was a great success, completed on time and budget and has cemented a long term relationship with Domestic and General with a roadmap of projects in the pipeline.
